Unicorn Stables offers full board in Surrey, BC, designed to support both horse and rider through attentive daily care, professional oversight, and ongoing training opportunities.
Our boarding program isn’t just a place to keep your horse. It’s a structured environment where horses and riders continue to grow together. Boarding includes a weekly coached lesson, access to clinics, schooling outings, and shows, plus a community of riders and coaches who genuinely care about your progress.
How we care for your horse
Our horses live in small, managed groups with consistent daily handling, movement, and access to turnout. Every horse is on an individualized feeding program with forage available throughout the day. In summer, horses have access to our large grass fields.
Feeding, turnout, and management are tailored to each horse’s age, condition, and needs, and reviewed regularly.
What’s included:
- Attentive daily horse care by experienced staff, onsite 24 hours a day
- Small group management with daily movement and access to turnout
- Individualized feeding programs with forage available throughout the day
- Summer field turnout on 4 acres of pasture
- Paddocks with lean-to shelters and automatic watering
- Vet and farrier coordination

Training and riding opportunities
Boarding at Unicorn Stables comes with built-in instruction and a clear pathway for ongoing development. A weekly coached lesson is included, with the option to add more ride time through additional lessons or training rides.
Boarders also have access to the full Unicorn program, including:
- In-house clinics with Unicorn coaches and invited external clinicians
- Off-property schooling outings
- Horse shows and competitions
- Trail riding along beach and dyke trails at Mud Bay
- Schooling at Panorama Ridge Riding Club, a five-minute hack from the barn
Our office and coaching team handle planning, coordination, and logistics for all off-property events. You focus on riding; we’ll handle the rest.
